The units and RV spaces are clean. The units have electricity. The on-site manager is helpful. BUT THE RATES ARE RIDICULOUS AND HAVE GONE UP SO HIGH AND SO FAST! Nicer, bigger, climate controlled units are available for less in the area.

I told Mr. Meyers what I needed, and he very pleasantly gave me all the information I needed and gave me the general location which helped me know that it was the perfect place for me. Had a great relationship with Joe, the previous owner. Now, with the new owners, its more like business without the personal touch. Also, I did anticipate there would be some sort of increase to our monthly fees. Always is with new ownership. Did not, however, see an increase of 45% coming so quickly. To answer question number 4 below, it's my son who is moving out of his three units because they are finally moving into their new home. When I shared with him what the new increase was he was glad to be moving out. Way to costly for him. As for me, I've been at this location for many years and over time the rent would go up about every two, three and sometimes 5 years in the amount of $5.00 per increase. Not 45% all at once! Kind of like a statement! Must have a lot of overhead to pass that kind of increase on to the current tenants. It may be time for me to reconsider as well whether or not to bite the bullet and stay, or perhaps look elsewhere. At least I've got options

Excellent facility!!!!! After shopping around for a storage facility, Southern Storage, by far, was the best. I selected them because they were the cleanest and best kept property I have ever seen. The manager is friendly and helpful and always available. Surprisingly, they also have the lowest rates. I HIGHLY recommend them.
