Tenant Spotlight: Ryan Boeh at SafeNest Storage in North Myrtle Beach, SC
Q: Could you please introduce yourself and tell us about your business? What inspired you to pursue this craft, and how did your business come to fruition?
A: My name is Ryan Boeh and I am the owner and operator of The Stitch Co. in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Stitch Co. is a custom auto upholstery shop, specializing in hot rod interiors, convertible tops, and custom motorcycle seats. I’ve always been into hot rods and motorcycles ever since I was a kid but didn’t know how I was going to be able to make a career out of it. I apprenticed at a hot rod shop and learned some upholstery basics. In 2016, I took the leap and opened up The Stitch Co. and have been perfecting my skills ever since.
Q: What sets your custom upholstery and leather work business apart from others in the industry? Are there any specific techniques, design approaches, or customer service practices that make your work unique?
A: I think what sets The Stitch Co. apart from other shops is that I strive for perfection on every job. Whether it’s a big job or a small job, when it leaves here it’s right. I’ve spent years focusing on quality, not quantity, and have built a great customer base that appreciates that.
Q: What factors and amenities led you to choose SafeNest Storage for your workspace and storage needs?
A: The number one reason why I like having my shop here with SafeNest is the peace of mind and security I have in this location. I never worry when I lock the doors every night.
Q: Can you share any interesting or unique challenges you faced in finding a suitable workspace for your business? How does SafeNest Storage address those challenges and meet your requirements?
A: There aren’t a lot of options for commercial rental space in this area, and especially not places that care about the safety and appearance of their buildings like SafeNest does.
